The CGA Grower Development Company held a Grower Information Day in Limpopo, in the Mpumalanga Province, on the 13th of September. Representatives were there to spread the word about the services offered to growers.
CGA-GDC Launch, March 2016
The CGA Grower Development Company hosted their launch party at Diep in Die Berg, in Pretoria, on the 18th of March 2016. The keynote speaker of the evening was the Minister of Agriculture, Minister Senzeni Zokwana, who highlighted the importance of development in Agriculture in his address, and commended the Citrus Industry for taking steps to promote the growth and development of emerging growers.

Representatives from the industry were available to spread the word about the services delivered to growers.
Female Farmer/Entrepreneur of the Year, 2015
Mrs Buyiswa Marrie Ndyenga, the General Manager of Sikhula Sonke Enterprises (Pty) Ltd, was awarded the category award for Top Export Market at the Female Farmer/Entrepreneur National competition held in KZN on the 27th of August 2015, hosted by DAFF (Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries).

Ms Nokwanele Ivy Mzamo, the General Manager of Luthando Farm (Pty) Ltd., was presented with the Female Farmer of the Year Award during 2014, winning first place for the Western District. She also won the Female Entrepreneur Award : Export and was the Overall Winner for the category.
